How did we get here?

My whole life, I was instilled with a love for visiting foreign places and learning about other cultures. It wasn't until after graduation that I really had the freedom to start exploring the places I wanted to see in the way that I wanted to see them. 

While in college studying Journalism, I met my husband, John. Within our first year of traveling together, we went to five National Parks, four National Forests, Four Corners National Monument, Breckenridge, El Paso, New Orleans, and Nashville. We also went skiing, hiking, camping, kayaking, and skydiving! 

When we realized how exciting some of our adventures had been, we decided to move to Colorado so we could do them more frequently. We also decided to start documenting what we were doing on this website!

This blog covers everything from our planning processes to honest trip reviews and includes confessions of our travel mistakes. For the most part, I photograph and create content for the blog while John helps me edit and write (and drives us to and from locations)! 

We are not experts by any means. We just want to share our love of travel and hope others have as much fun as we do.
