 New Orleans holds a very special place in my heart, as it does for many, and this home truly embraces the spirit of New Orleans that I've fallen in love with. The house is decorated from wall to wall and ceiling to floor with a wonderful collection of memories and souvenirs from all over the world. I am sure if these walls could talk, they would have some stories to tell! The tall ceilings, dark furniture, and dark wooden floor give it the slightly eerie feeling that is characteristic of so many New Orleans voodoo stories and haunted histories. In the back of the house, there is a wonderful bathroom connected to the master bedroom and a door that leads to a delightful, backyard garden.
The house is walking distance from several shops and restaurants on Magazine Street, including Surrey’s Uptown. This is a great house, in a prime location, for any visit to New Orleans. It's just a few blocks from the trolley line that will take you practically anywhere in the Big Easy.
