I have actually had the pleasure of eating at The Chimes in Baton Rouge a couple of times. There is nothing terribly special about this place, but it has lots of beer choices, decent food, and I've never had to wait for a table.
The most recent visit was in February of 2016. John and I got the spinach and artichoke dip, my dad got a burger, my sister got wings, and those of us who were of-age enjoyed a few local brews. I had also stopped by in 2013 for a full meal and had the seafood pasta. It was delicious and quite filling. All in all, The Chimes in Baton Rouge is a pretty good restaurant with a casual atmosphere. I’ve never had a bad time there, and would recommend it for anyone looking to sit and have a decent, affordable meal in Baton Rouge.
